Merav Dagan is a mother, choreographer, performer, and interdisciplinary artist. She holds a BA in Dance from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance and an MA in Interdisciplinary Arts from Tel Aviv University (with honors). With over a decade of artistic experience, she has presented her work at leading festivals and platforms worldwide. Her practice merges performance, visual theater, voice, text, and music, often challenging artistic, social, and political boundaries. Among her notable achievements are the Israeli Minister of Culture Award for 10 Years of Artistic Creation (2019), First Prize at the Shades in Dance competition (2013), and the "Out of the Box" Award at the Gothenburg Fringe Festival (2019) for her performance BLOODY MARY. Merav was also a DanceWEB scholar at the prestigious ImPulsTanz festival in Vienna, which further enriched her interdisciplinary approach to art. From 2020 to 2022, she served as the Artistic Director of the INTIMADANCE Festival in Tel Aviv.
